Mrs Coyle, imbibing in wine at the awards dinner last night.
It was at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow and began shortly after Scotland exited from the European Championship qualifiers, going down 1-2 against Italy.
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. We had to leave home with about 20 minutes to go and I still haven't see the Italians' winning goal. I don't really want to.
Anyway, there's always something else to look forward to (as I told Sophie last night).
The awards were good fun. Steve Backley, the Olympic javelin chucker, was the guest of honour and we had a few drinks with him later in the evening.
I'm aiming for Motherwell AC to be among the prize-winners next year!
